A crackdown on illegal immigration will have to go forward without help from Congress, the Bush administration said Friday, asserting that an executive-branch-only approach is better than doing nothing. Sheriff to educate law enforcement on immigration policy
Frederick County Sheriff Chuck Jenkins intends to educate other county law enforcement agencies about his department’s new policy that allows deputies to check the immigration status of those they arrest.
